Martin Cregg is an Irish documentary photographer and educator living in Dublin. He has exhibited in Ireland and abroad. His current book 'Midlands' is available from the Gallery of Photography, Dublin (May 2009) and his exhibition 'Midlands: A topographical Exploration of the Irish Midlands' recently showcased in Photospace, New Zealand (June 2009)and as part of an Irish Contemporary group show at Les Rencontres Aarles, France (August 2009). His work applies principles found in Minimalism and Conceptual art practices to the paradigm of documentary photography.
