Martin Cregg is an Irish documentary photographer and educator living in Dublin.
He has exhibited in Ireland and Internationally -recently in Shanghai as part of the 'Postcards from The Celtic Tiger' Group show (July 2010). In 2010 he was selected to participate in the international Reflexions Masterclass (Basel:May 2010 & Paris:Nov 2010) and has been commissioned to work and exhibit in the 'Foreign eyes on Frysland' project, as one of the six photographers who will explore the region.
His first major work 'Midlands' was exhibited the Gallery of Photography, Dublin (July 2008), Photospace, New Zealand (June 2009)and as part of an Irish Contemporary group show at Les Rencontres Aarles, France (August 2009).
His work applies principles found in Minimalism and Conceptual art practices to the paradigm of documentary photography.
